And Now, For Something Completely Different — Olympic Soccer

What follows is a photographic essay on the progress of the U.S. Women’s SoccerTeam against Canada in the semi-final round yesterday.  Once a soccer player, always a soccer player.

Here us is our crew, anticipating the worst.  Well, it’s tied at three all, and nobody wants to lose on penalty kicks.

 

AND we missed the shot.  Even in despair, Jeff Campbell cannot look unhappy.

Well, maybe he he can.  I would like to include the photo from the end of the match, but the screaming and cheering made me drop the camera.
